One month to go until Middlewick House Open Garden returns

In 2023 the weekend helped to raise a staggering record sum of £88,000, which was split equally between the two charities.

Visitors will be able to wander around the scenic backdrop of the Middlewick House garden, with its menagerie of animals, as well as seeing a selection of Nick’s classic and high-performance cars up close.

The family-friendly weekend will include plenty of stalls to browse, with lots of items for sale, such as locally made ice cream from Lacock Dairies, live music to enjoy from the Corsham Wind Band and The Rock Choir, plus plants available to purchase from Foxley Road Nurseries.

There will be lots for children to enjoy across the weekend, including face painting by FaBlings and a bouncy castle.

Pink Floyd drummer Nick will be firing up his famous BBQ for the event to ensure visitors are well-fed. Tea, coffee, cakes and other food stalls will also be available throughout the day.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance deputy chief executive Barbara Gray said: “The Middlewick House event is always hugely popular with our supporters and it continues to break records in terms of visitor numbers and funds raised for two vital Wiltshire charities.

“We can’t thank Nick and Annette enough for agreeing to hold the event again this year.”

Jennie Shaw, director of The Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust, added: “We are delighted the Masons are generously opening their garden once more, following the record success of last year’s event.

“It’s a great weekend for families and we all look forward to welcoming you. Both charities are extremely grateful to the homeowners on Middlewick Lane; without their support it would be difficult to hold such an event.”

Middlewick House, a property with historical significance as the former home of Her Majesty The Queen, is located on Middlewick Lane, Corsham, SN13 0PX.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance is a charity which has provided Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) across Wiltshire, Bath and surrounding areas since 1990. It costs £4.5 million a year to keep the air ambulance flying and saving lives. Nick and Annette are ambassadors for the charity.

The Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust was established in 1998 to work in partnership with Wiltshire Police to provide a home security service. The mission of the charity is to help elderly or vulnerable people who have been victims of, or are considered to be at risk of, house crime, hate crime, domestic abuse or fire. Through Stay Safe Online, they also provide one-to-one cyber crime advice for over-60s and those aged 18+ with a registered disability who have concerns about online fraud.
