Thanks to your generosity we've completed the 2023 Big Give Christmas Challenge with a whole day to spare!

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who donated the £17,500 required to release the remaining £17,500 pledged by our match funders.

The Big Give Challenge is a yearly fundraising campaign, in which we offer supporters the opportunity to double their donations.

It’s a simple idea. When the you donate through a Big Give campaign, we ask funders (philanthropists, foundations or corporates) to match that donation. So if you donate £50, it becomes £100 for our lifesaving service.

Dr Jono Holme delivering drugs to a patient in flight

Following last year's successful Big Give campaign, we are again raising funds to pay for the clinical expertise and experience of Dr Jonathan Holme to work alongside our paramedic crew for another year, delivering the highest standard of care to our critically ill and injured patients.

Can you help us reach our goal?

What happens now?

This year's campaign runs from 28 November - 5 December, and we need to raise £17,500 to unlock the match funding.

If you would like to donate to us this Christmas, the Big Give campaign is a perfect opportunity to maximise the donation.

1. We secure match funding

We ask our corporate supporters and the Wiltshire Match Fund to provide £17,500 of match funds. Our match funders are: Wiltshire Match Fund, Castle Combe Circuit, the Andrew Smiley Trust, Ridge Coffee Club and Melksham Ltd.

2. You make your donation

You can make your donation between 28 November and 5 December. Keep an eye on our social media for regular updates and to be alerted when we hit our target.

3. Your donation will be doubled

The donation you have made will be automatically doubled. This means you can make twice the impact on our lifesaving service, with no extra cost to you.

FACTS AND FIGURES

Did you know?

It costs £4.5 million a year to keep the air ambulance flying. We receive no regular direct Government funding or National Lottery grants, so rely on generous donations from the public and local businesses to continue our lifesaving service.
